Brand Strategist • Campaign Leader • Media Maven
Hi, I’m Chanel Tate — a marketing professional with over 10 years of experience building, managing, and elevating brands through data-backed storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and media strategy. I’ve shaped campaigns and brand experiences for global companies including Hyatt Hotels, Expedia, Amazon Ads, Procter & Gamble, Viacom, and VIBE Magazine.
Most recently, I served as Global Brand Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where I led brand strategy, creative development, and guest-facing programs for Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Caption by Hyatt. My work included crafting multi-channel campaigns, refining positioning frameworks, managing internal rollouts, and supporting long-stay initiatives and GTM toolkits across global markets.
My background spans agency, publisher, and in-house roles. I began my career at Starcom Mediavest Group (Publicis Groupe) as a Multicultural Media Buyer, supporting Procter & Gamble (U.S. Hispanic Market) and Bank of America. I went on to lead digital and client-side media campaigns at Amazon Ads, and later managed multi-million-dollar tourism media budgets at Expedia Group, including campaigns for Visit Mississippi and Visit Las Vegas.
Early roles at VIBE Magazine and Viacom shaped my instincts for storytelling and audience engagement—skills I now apply to integrated marketing, performance media, and brand growth strategies.
Known for bridging big-picture brand vision with tactical execution, I translate insights into scalable campaigns, toolkits, and go-to-market plans that drive measurable impact. Whether building equity for global hospitality brands or leading inclusive media strategies, I bring curiosity, agility, and heart to every project.
